UNCLAIMED EXPERIENCE
A Night of Film & Video, curated by Sara Jordenö
From the personal to the necropolitical, the artists in this program grapple with their own position as witnesses and the camera apparatus, the emulsion on the celluloid film strip, subtitles, video and audio signals as fickle and elusive, yet powerful, forms of evidence, while simultaneously embracing the relationship between sensing and making sense.
Films and Videos by Louise Bourque, Africanus Okokon, Kathryn Ramey, Evelyn Cao, Bryan Parcival, Runo Lagomarsino, Behjat Omer Abdulla, Carlos Motta, and Tomonari Nishikawa.
Co-presented by the AgX Film Collective and the Film Study Center at Harvard University
